Anas Kishmaria spoke at a conference in Kazan
At the conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Ins tute of
the Commissioner in the Republic of Tatarstan, held in Kazan, on the topic “Modern trends
in the protec on of human rights: experience, current problems and prospects”, the
Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Abkhazia Anas Kishmaria addressed the
par cipants with a welcoming speech.
In her speech, she noted:
“During mee ngs with Russian colleagues, we have repeatedly noted that our common
human rights line is free from opportunis c influence. I mean that when many countries
that call themselves civilized and consider themselves conductors of human rights
tradi ons use this topic as a tool for achieving some poli cal goals, distor ng the very
essence of human rights ac vi es, we really stand guard over the rights and freedoms of
man and ci zen.
I consider it important to note that partnership and coopera on in the modern world are
gaining new significance, be it business, science, art or any other sphere. The synergy that
arises from combining efforts opens up new horizons. Therefore, in this dynamic
environment those who are able to build strong and long-term partnerships, who are open
to new ideas and goals, not limited by the usual framework, win. We are commi ed to
close coopera on with colleagues from Tatarstan. Abkhazia always welcomes guests with
cordiality. All government bodies try to quickly and fully provide assistance and support in
resolving the difficul es that tourists visi ng our country may encounter."
