On June 27, 2025, in the office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of
Abkhazia in Sukhum, a working mee ng was held between Anas Kishmaria and the Minister
of Social Security and Demographic Policy of the Republic of Abkhazia Ruslan Adzhba.  
During the mee ng, special a en on was paid to issues related to the social protec on of
the popula on and compliance with the rights of ci zens in this area. The main topic of the
mee ng was the discussion of the situa on related to the receipt of Russian child benefits
by our ci zens and the unfavorable legal consequences arising in this regard.
The par es agreed to con nue regular exchange of informa on and conduct joint
consulta ons to promptly resolve emerging problems and also expressed their readiness to
provide the necessary assistance to the vic ms in order to protect the rights of our ci zens.
